JESUS TEACHES ABOUT TRUSTING PEOPLE

But Jesus would not entrust himself to them, for he knew all men. 25 He did not need man’s testimony about man, for he knew what was in a man.  John 2:24-25 NIV

Our Lord knew all men, their nature, dispositions, affections; He, whose eyes are like flaming torches of truth can see deep into our hearts and souls.

He knows who His crafty enemies are, and all of their secret, wicked schemes; he knows who the hypocrites are and where they are located, He knows their true characters. He also knows who are truly His, He knows their holiness, integrity and their love for Him, He also knows their weaknesses.

Matthew Henry quote

God knows that people will do what they want to do; Christ knows what is in them, He will test every heart. Beware of a dead faith, or a formal profession: carnal, empty professors are not to be trusted, men will pretend and perform for others and themselves, but they cannot fool Almighty God or the Holy Spirit, who searches the heart and motives.

Matthew Henry quote

What is most important in our lives: what or Whom do we think and talk about most – what do we spend our money on – who do we admire – do we want to know absolute truth – do we believe and obey the truth?

Jesus did not trust himself with these people, who believed in Him, on the basis of His miracles; He did not take them into the number of His associates; He did not admit them to a close intimate fellowship with Himself; He did not freely converse with them, or spend much time with them; but He soon left them, and went into other parts of Judea, and into Galilee.

Jesus knows all men; good and bad, all wicked, deceitful sinners, and all of their public and private actions; He knows the wickedness of their black, deceitful hearts.  He knew that they would try to destroy Him and His true believers; He knew that some of these people would cry out loudly in the streets; crucify – crucify – destroy and silence this Person who has upset and irritated us by telling us the truth – away with the Son of God and with anyone who will dare to speak the Truth.

Jesus also knows those who are truly His, those people who have made Him Lord and Savior of their lives.  He knows the people that He has washed, saved, sanctified and justified by His sacrifice and blood. Jesus said, “My sheep hear My voice,” that is how Jesus knows who the true children of His Father really are, because they are always listening to His voice and obeying Him.

Jesus knows the tares and He also knows those who are actually the good wheat – he knows His saints and He knows who the hypocrites are and where they have imbedded themselves into His Church family.

“Millions call themselves by His name and pay some token homage to Jesus, but a simple test will show how little

He is really honored among them. Let the average man be put to the proof on the question of whom or what is really important, and his true position will be exposed. Let him be forced into making a choice between God and money, between God and men, between God and personal ambition, God and hobbies, God and self, God and human love, and God will take second place every time. Those other things will be exalted above Him. However the man may protest - the proof is in the choices that he makes day after day throughout his life.

A.W. Tozer, the Pursuit of God

The shocking fact of our Laodicea church age is that many and maybe most of the people standing in the pulpits with their hand picked “yes men” to back up their deceit and “doctrines of demons” are tares and hypocrites. This entire ungodly entourage is up front, acting out their performances, but in reality, they are tares and hypocrites.

Most of these people have never been called, appointed and anointed to the ministry by Almighty God.

As men and women of God it is vital that we teach absolute truth, but it is equally important that we absolutely obey and live the truth

How can we know when we are in the presence of a true man or woman of God? The answer is very simple –

Jesus will always be the Center of attentionThere will always be an aroma, a fragrance of purity, humility and godly love in the heart, where Jesus is truly reigning as Lord and Savior.

Jesus promised us that when we become true believers in Him and in the salvation that He purchased for us on

Calvary– out of our very hearts will flow rivers of living water.  When we have His living water of truth and love flowing from our lives, everyone around us will be encouraged and refreshed, and Our Savior will be glorified.

Why have millions of devoted Christians left the churches?

Why have millions of devoted Christians left the churches?

What is causing this world wide phenomenon?

Many committed Christians in the U.S. and around the world have left their organized churches.

Christian research services believe that there are over 12 million believers who have left evangelical “Christian” churches and their numbers are growing.

These people are not backsliders or rebels looking for a cause; they are humble, godly people walking in close fellowship with the Lord.  Their deepest desire and longing is to worship God in spirit and in truth and to win the lost. They hunger and thirst after righteous and they long to worship with humble people that have the same desires.

They are grieved that they have had to leave their churches; but they are just too honest to play religious games, many of them believe that God has called them to leave their churches, because their churches had degenerated to mere social clubs with a little religious flavoring. They have become a witness against the apostasy in their churches.

They share their concerns with us:

Why is “worship,” the music, the church programs so tightly controlled by the “pastor” and his hand picked team of “yes” men?

Why does the Holy Spirit not freely minister in our services to people that desperately need to experience the love and presence of Jesus?

Why does the “pastor” waste 80% of his “message” telling jokes about himself and others, when people are so hungry to see Jesus, “high and Holy and lifted up?”

Single mom’s who are trying to raise two or three kids don’t need jokes, they need Jesus; they need someone to come along side of them, let them know that we are lifting them up in prayer and that we are there to help them in their times of need.

There are millions of needy people that would love to fellowship with a humble, caring body of believers, they have driven many miles hoping to find a church where truth is taught and worship is real.

A surprising fact; 94% of out of church believers were leaders in their churches, they just kept “hanging on” hoping that things would change, eventually they left because they could not give approval to a religious system that did not honor the Savior.

If you are longing to worship God in spirit and in truth, God is longing for you to fellowship with Him and other believers, because worship and fellowship are the very purposes that we were created, Jeremiah 33:3.

If you will prayerfully and faithfully wait on God He will lead you to a fellowship where you can experience true worship.

The Promise:

“Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know” – Jeremiah 33:3.

We need to be open to God’s leadership; He may have you meet with other believers that want to worship in a home or another facility.

Our Purpose:

“Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks” – John 4:23.

God’s Provision:

“God sets the lonely in families, he leads forth the prisoners with singing; but the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land” – with us Psalm 68:6.

We will be sharing many other thoughts and scriptures on this site to help people connect with others that want to humbly worship our Creator, Father, Friend and Savior.

We will help you connect with other believers in your area so that you can share your beliefs and move back into a fellowship of faithful, caring Christians.
